I’ve been on a YA fiction kick recently, but I’m not really sure why. Maybe because I didn’t read enough as a teenager. Anyway, this is a great story looking at life in an idyllic American suburb when things aren’t so great. It touches on a lot of issues and handles them in a compelling way. The themes are all there without getting in the way of an interesting plot.
