The first arc of The Stormlight Archive ends in the expected spectacular fashion. Overall, I liked Wind and Truth but think it is one of the weaker of the Stormlight books. Some of the character’s arcs were great; in particular I liked Adolin and Shallan’s. Others didn’t add much in my opinion. There was unforutnately a lot of exposition because there was so much of the history that needed to be covered, but most of it was pretty interesting. I think he did a good job of the ending feeling like it sufficiently wrapped this stage of the story while recognizing it’s only the planned halfway point of the series.
